I have to counter-argue on it though.
I used to have bad gas, it would hit me for no apparent reason. I would be all bloaty and could clear a Walmart aisle on the bad days.
I was worried going to a more vegetable based diet would increase this problem.
Quite amazingly, it hasn't. Will you have the same result? I don't know,but it is worth a try at least.
Now I can rate how I am doing on a few factors.
First is how I feel. When I am being good I feel more energetic, more awake, more attentive. When I am still adhering, but maybe eating too many nuts (you are what you eat you know :D) or too many sweets (frozen fruits) or indulging in sushi or opting for a night out and having Thai hot Pad Thai, I start to feel tired, I can almost feel the pound of weight coming on. My legs stop working as good, I cannot stifle that yawn! YUCK! But hey, it is impossible to be good all the time.

Then there is the good old poop police. Eating right, I usually have to visit the bathroom two or three times a day. I start to veer off the path and I am fighting for one. Fall off the wagon and get ran over as it backs up to retrieve me I end up being bound up and feeling like crap and extremely constipated waiting to see how many days before I can get moving again.
Don't forget number one! If you are getting enough water your urine should be towards the clear side. If it is dark yellow and smelly and you haven't just eaten asparagus then run to the fridge and dispense a couple large glasses of water.
My final indicator is bloating and gas. Ugh. Don't you hate being in a room with others and all of a sudden your stomach announces really loudly. HEY OVER HERE! I'M EITHER EXTREMELY HUNGRY OR GOING TO STENCH UP THE PLACE SOON.
Well they say the gurgling form you intestines is a good thing. It means the digestive process is cruising along and the liquids and bacteria are sloshing around having a good old time. I don't know about this. I usually do not hear much stomach rumbling unless i have gone an extremely long time without food (not likely) or I have eaten something that has ticked off my digestive tract and everyone needs to be careful around me if their olfactory senses are working properly.
I would change the statement to Fat AND Fart!
All that greasy food-like waste that the bacteria can have a field day with.
It is unusual for me to have long bouts of gas lately, so that is one positive on the nutritional change.
Now that the heat is ending I can hopefully get back into a walking routine. I have missed it and I have lost progress on the weight loss, back into a holding state, but at least that is better than packing on the pounds.
Going to make myself a nice salad for lunch now.
