I read the book s and pages and reports and they talk about fasting days. You know, because the caveman ate when the food was available and didn't when they had not managed to kill a woolly mammoth in a while.
I always thought this idea stupid, I mean come on, it is not like I am overeating any more and plowing through 6000 calories on a daily basis. Well today it happened and quite unintentionally. Well I guess it wasn't an entire fast day since I did have breakfast. Lunchtime rolled around and I went home and walked the dogs and when I got back to work I still had no interest in eating. Kids off to band, I still hadn't had an interest in eating. Emptied the big rig, put up the scaffolding, divvied out the panels and still not hungry. Now I sit here thinking about this. In my mind I feel I should eat something, I mean, you have to eat to survive..... right? Well I do not feel like eating just to eat so I figured I would do some typing instead.
Did I eat too much yesterday? Nope skipped lunch, skipped dinner Saturday too. Quite frankly it is nice to be able to miss meals and not feel like I am starving or missing out. I do not feel lightheaded either. I do not have any science here just experience, but it used to be if I did not eat by 11:30 I would feel all woozy and lightheaded.
Oh well, I will have some eggs for breakfast tomorrow and maybe I will eat my salad, it should still be in good shape.
